Spiritual Colorado Ranch Wedding

Clay and Hunter’s wedding was held in August at Troublesome Creek Ranch in Kremmling, CO.   The ranch was originally owned by Clay’s great grandpa, and was passed down to Clay's parents. Clay grew up there raising cattle, riding horses, and hunting.  The ranch holds a very special place in Clay and Hunter's hearts.

They wanted to be sure that God was included in their special day, so they brought the "church" wedding to the ranch, with a large homemade aspen tree cross as their ceremony backdrop.  They kept their decor minimal, and used natural pieces to compliment the beautiful views of the valley.

Reception: We cut aspen trees into small chunks and used as table decor. Tons of candles were used to set a romantic mood. Pine cones, antlers, and moss were finishing touches.

Ceremony: We built an archway & cross from aspen trees and used logs to make benches for our guests. Elk horns were hung on the archway. And the cross was where we stood to tie the knot.
