Open Skies Texas Ranch Engagement

Everything Kaitlyn Bullard sends us is magic, and this engagement session is no exception!

Alissa and Byron met through a mutual friend and their love quickly grew. At one point while they were dating, Alissa mentioned that she loved old historic churches. Byron held on to that little piece of information, and when it came time for him to propose, he knew exactly where to take her. He asked her to be his wife on the steps of a beautiful historic chapel in west Texas.

For their engagement photos, the couple wanted to take a few on the iconic train bridge in Canadian, Texas, and then headed to Byron's family's ranch a short drive away. As they are both Texas panhandle natives, the corrals, fields, and canyons are meaningful to them and were the perfect places to capture their love together.

Since their wedding will a non-traditional destination ceremony in Breckenridge, Colorado this spring, Alissa wanted to wear a lace wedding dress for these engagement photos and wanted to do a 'first look' with Byron. His reaction was so sweet and emotional!
