Small Town Desert Wedding Full of Cacti + Vintage Goods!
If you follow or know Miss Katy Jade then we’re sure you’re aware how extremely talented this gal is! She pulled out all of her creative stops for her small town desert wedding to her hunk of a (now) husband, Austin!
The wedding was held in the their small hometown hidden in the red rocks of Nevada! Austin’s family had a vacant old Arabian horse barn so they went ahead and tidied it up to use as their venue… which we think is so perfect! When a venue means something to the couple it makes their wedding day just that much more special!
Katy’s creativity shined through not only in her style choice, but also in little details throughout the day! Her and her mom put together all of the floral arrangements for the reception and the ceremony! She did have her bouquet made (with a large cactus smack dab in the middle in case you missed it!) by The Front Porch Flowers. Her family also helped with hair and makeup and Katy used her design skills to put together her and Austin’s beautiful invitation layout!
Let’s talk about what these two were wearing…
The jackets that Austin wore was vintage and we can’t get over the detail on it, especially with the simple tie he chose to wear! Katy’s earrings from Vaquera Style are also vintage and were gifted to her by Austin for Christmas. The two of them were matching in their Warbonnet Hatworks hats and we love the added on floral detail that Katy rocked! Katy’s dress is a one of a kind design that came alllll the way from Italy! The bell sleeves and all of the lace are absolutely stunning. Also, it turns out that Katy isn’t the only creative minded one in the duo! Austin was the designer behind her amazing wedding ring!
We love all of these little details and one of our favorites might just be little Johnny Lee, their pup that was along for the ride! We love being able to share such a beautiful wedding day full of inspiration and all sorts of love!
